Wow, I haven't written in this for a while! I got offered a job August 1 ... I believe I will take it. Spanish classes finished, I think I will take introductory French. My cat Callie died - kidney failure. She would always walk around underneath my piano bench when I would play at home and I trained her since she was young to "tap" me when she wanted to be petted, I don't think she did that with anyone else, but when I was gone for long periods she would remember. She was also a wonderfully vocal cat, which made her quite funny.
Went to Sequioa this weekend, it apparently has the best views in D.C. I joined the Sierra Club today. Dinah and I looked for pianos yesterday. It looks like she will get an $11,000 Kawaii. I have been getting into the World Cup. I wanted England to reach the finals and I was truly heartbroken when they lost. I was excited that Italy will go to the finals, that's about all the country has going for it now.
I am looking into apartments now. It is storming in D.C., glad I did not go to the Mall, can't imagine that I would have under any circumstances. Does not sound very appealing.
