Yesterday we discovered that there is a new channel available in HD for Comcast. It is the National Geographic Channel. I watched part of a show about animals in the womb, featuring an Indian elephant fetus. It was kind of amazing. Their gestation period is at least a year and a half long, and when they are born, they weigh 250 pounds. I stopped watching before the birth because it is bad to eat dinner while watching an Indian elephant give birth to a gigantic baby elephant. But it's all worth it, because more channels in HD = happy Jess.
Now I need the SciFi channel in HD and I will be content. I feel ridiculous when I watch Battlestar and it doesn't fill up the whole screen and look beautiful.
