Yesterday I got some laundry done and then decided to go along with Laura, Carl, Dennis and Bud to go see White Noise. However, we never made it to the movie. lol. It's a complicated story about a ton of driving zig-zags and just not enough time. So instead we went got our eats on and rented Saved! which I had already seen. It's one of the more funny movies of the year. If you haven't seen it you really should.
So then Laura, Carl, Dennis and Bud dropped me off for my second shift at Wawa. Of course they all had to yell things out the car at me while I was entering the store like "have a good shift sweetie. love you. etc. etc." Jerks, lol. It was the dreaded "overnight" from 11pm to 7am. I really didn't dread it that much. I get paid an extra $0.50 an hour and there was enough to do (no real hard labor or anything) that I was able to keep busy most of the time. The hardest part of the shift was from 5am-7am because I was ready to go home and time seemed to move really slow because at that point there really wasn't much left to do.
I am scheduled 37 hours for this coming week (which is also the first week back at school! yeeea! hehe). My schedule is as follows:
Monday
- 4pm - 10pm
Tuesday
- 4pm - 11pm
Wednesday
- Off
Thursday
- 4pm - 11pm
Friday
- Off
Saturday
- 11pm - 7am
Sunday
- 11pm - 7am
Now - compare that to my class
schedule. It should be an interesting week. lol.
Well, I am off to finish cleaning, laundry and packing. I work again tonight from 11pm-7am. After work I'm walking up to University Hall where I'll stay with Lindsay (thanks Lindsay!) until my dad comes up with my stuff between 9am-10am. When is everyone else getting back on campus?
That's it for now,
Kyle
