We're back! Back, and adjusting to Sherman humidity.
Walking down the building hallway, we passed the loft of a nice neighbor of ours who's lived here probably half a year or so. His door was open and a fan was outside, blowing the cool hallway air into his room. The previous tenants of that room had some problems with the air conditioner too, so i knocked to see if he'd like to borrow the swiveling fan that we bought recently--but it turns out he was just trying to cut down on his electric bill, not unjustly suffering from management negligence, so i left awkwardly.
His solution is looking more and more rational. Our bill this month showed that we'd used as much energy as we did last August--much more than last June and July. To which my only response is: lame.
