2008 Can Suck It!
Everything that can go wrong this year has. This week alone:
Ughhhhhhh I'm hating life right now.
But, since it's already almost 8am where she is, and therefore tomorrow and that I'll probably won't update again to do this later: Happy birthday fadedsouls! (Edit: ANNNNDDDDDDDD hidden_kitten! Though you won't see this because we're not on each other's f-list's yet :P) Hope it's a good one! (Oh and pikka: I meant to do a post for you, but I wanted it to be huge with sparkly text and images and be awesome, but I fail at life, so here's hoping your birthday was good too!)
- My sister's boyfriend's drug addicted ex-friend decided it would be hilarious to steal her DS (including games and case, I'm pretty sure her GBA games went with it) and iPod and sell them for crack money. I mean, seriously, who does that shit? And to make matters worse: the kid was over at my dad's house on Father's Day (long story short: my dad's girlfriend is my sister's boyfriend's mother. Don't ask.), and left carrying out an iPod. I recognized the case as my sisters but didn't think of it. I could have stopped him but because I don't know the kid, I stayed quiet. (Found out he also took my dad's girlfriend's digital camera and the ring my dad got when he was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps.
- George Carlin and Hoke Dorough (Howie's father) both just died. Dear 2008: Stop killing people plzkthnx.
- The big one: I'm out of a job as of the 30th. I wasn't fired... the place is going out of business. Sales have been slipping (it was never that busy to begin with). I've been there four years, it was my first job, I've been through so many different crews, met so many people... I'm ready to cry again. I will cry next Monday when I clock out, and walk out without my uniform and name tag. I will cry when I pick up my last check on the fifth... Right now it's still surreal.
- I'm not in classes... again. They've fucked something up with my financial aid... again. They scheduled me for two classes back-to-back when I should only have one, so now I owe the school $218 I fucking do not have right now, especially now with the whole unemployment issue.
