Let's put aside the rant that these should be called graphic novels and not manga because they didn't originate in Japan.
The art style isn't even close to that of a manga. It's actually... pretty lackluster. (Yet they advertise that "each book was illustrated by a talented manga artist") Uh huh, sure it was. Keep telling yourself that.
And I love the fact that they have to advertise that the graphic novels "read front to back and right to left, the way you're used to reading," like adjusting to reading a manga is oh so hard.
