As you might rememember, I once did a watercolour painting titled "After the fencing session". Naturally, it was only a question of time before I felt I had to draw some actual fencing as well to complete it.
I let the idea stew a bit in my brain, and finally grabbed a pencil and set to work...

Not easy to get into the mood if you don't really have the first idea what you want to include in the drawing, or how to best show some action if you've never done any swordplay yourself...
The guy in the middle probably meant to issue a challenge, but the idea was quickly dismissed. On the other hand, both the scene on the right and the detail on the left of him look promising. But when in doubt, squeeze a totally unrelated doodle into the righthand bottom corner and put the sketchpad away for a bit...
