your eyes always squint, like you're staring at the sun

we make stories of strangers we see. the texas gentleman dreams of seeing the northern lights. we make our own designs in the sky. the big burly bear is jumping across the horizon, so he can get the bowl of honey on the other side. it's a rare occasion when we say no words, but we understand the comfortable silence to be sweetly savored. your tender cuddle keeps me warm from the chilled breath of wind. delicate kisses on cheeks and eskimo kisses on noses. happiness is found in as simple of a thing as us sharing a rootbeer. and you're so cute when you blow bubbles till it overflows. sometimes i get scared when things go so well. but you always say to not worry for in worrying it's difficult to enjoy the moment to it's fullest. i wonder if the texas gentlemen made it to see the northern lights. and i wonder when we'll see that jumping bear again in the sky. will he ever make it to that bowl of honey on the other side?
