Earth Day fun fact: Earth Day co-founder Ira Einhorn murdered his ex-girlfriend, Holly Maddux, and hid her body in a steamer trunk for over a year. When he was apprehended, he jumped bail and disappeared for 15 years. When he was finally extradited from France, my mother - who had been a close friend of Holly's - was only too happy to testify about his behavior. He's in jail now.
