Not quite summer
I absolutely love this specific time of year. Still the spring time but the aromas of summer fill the air. The air is warming up, the sun is shining bright and the trees and flowers are in full bloom. Yes, this is by far my favourite time of year. It is not sickly hot out like July and August tend to be. It's just nice and warm. It is always said that the spring is a time of rebirth, a time of rejuvenation. I guess this is because of nature's cycle of death in the winter and birth in the spring. The fresh air and sunshine infuses something positive and energetic in the human spirit.
I don't know about other people but I think good things tend to happen more often in the spring time than any other time of year. Babies are born, engagements take place, weddings occur. Love fills the air. I am hoping that this spring time something good will happen to me. I need some rejuvenation in my professional life. All winter I have been applying to various jobs all over the place and following through with my applications. Calling places, emailing places and I only managed to snag two interviews. Both interviews went really well but they hired someone else with more experience in a certain area for the one job and as it sounds right now the other job got bumped from being full time to being a summer student position and I am not sure why. Just recently I applied to what could be a dream job for me. I just hope that my application stands out from the crowd so I can get an interview.
