Cocktails, drinking games, latenight swimming, a BBQ and wicked friends makes one FANATASTIC weekend
I had a fantastic weekend!!! Friday night we had a cocktail night in my flat. Val made Pina Coladas, I made margaritas (from scratch I might add..no premade margarita mix...i made my own sour mix..they were soooo good!), Vinny made caipirihnas ( a venezualan drink that was awesome as well) and after those drinks we just started mixing whatever looked good. We played a fun drinking game which caused me to first spill my drink all over my WHITE pants (not good when you had grenadine in the drink) and then drop the glass on the floor. It smashed in a million pieces. It has been visciously hot here lately so my kitchen was scorching when we were in there drinking and playing games so at about 2am someone had the brilliant idea to go to the beach and swim. So at 2:30am we were all swimming in the sea in the dark. It was a ton of fun. I think we made it back around 4:30 when the sun started to rise.
Saturday we all went to a BBQ at Kensa and Samantha's new house (they are lesbians and the most fun lesbians I have ever met!!). MArgaritas were made again...sangria and wine was drank...games were played...we adopted a tailess cat...Erin's BF was given an atomic wedgie by Vickie.. Val asked their neighbour to show us her tits..it was one crazy fun night!
I don't think I would have made it through the year here if I hadn't met these fantastic friends. It is getting close to the end of the year and I will most likely be home for good in about 6 weeks....it is going to be bittersweet. I am looking forward to being on my own turf with my candian friends again but I am really really really going to miss everyone I have become so close with here.
