my weekend and other events
I feel so relaxed right now....it's a wonderful feeling. For once I actually do not have anything due tomorrow. Sure, I have bunches to do for the end of the week, but I'm not pressured to get anything done for tomorrow. man. this is a good feeling.
Two more classes, a paper thursday, a paper friday, a final thursday, a final friday, and then i'll be home with a paper due the 14th. I'm really ready for the semester to be over.
Last night I got approximately 1.5 hours of sleep. Then I was off to spanish where I did the most horrible spanish presentation ever. But it's done. And I don't have to write anymore papers for that class. Now I'm working on my world cultures paper that's due friday and seriously considering a nap. I could potentially be in bed by 10:00. that'd be nice.
Um, I don't really know why I'm posting. I have nothing new to say.
This weekend was fun. Except I realized that it was my last weekend here before the semester's over :(. I'm happy to go home (and definitely happy to be free of school for a month), but I'm going to miss everybody.
Oh, I am now an official active member of Kappa Chi--hooray!! I'm glad the pledging process took a whole semester instead of just a few weeks like the regular sororities. I definitely know what I'm getting into now, and now I'm so attached to everybody that I'm really really excited to be a member. I'm going to an active meeting tonight and i'm pretty bummed because i won't be able to see the result of the Illini game...but oh well. Speaking of college basketball....
who was the team that beat Purdue on saturday? Oh yeah, it was UE! shh. i don't care how badly Purdue's doing this year...we beat them and that's all that matters. I went to the game and it was fun, but.....i dunno. It really made me miss U of I. Like, really. The game was entertaining, but it definitely wasn't the same. For a split second I wished I had gone to U of I....but then I realized that choosing a college because of the marching band and sports program is really not very smart. I'm happy here, and I'm meant to be here....even if I do miss the Illini and secretly wish I was a part of MI.
Ohh well.
I think I'm gonna go get some food, even though I'm not very hungry. Then....I dunno. Hope ya'll are having a good week!
