1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before? was a regional director
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Arg, I gained wait and am broke.  
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? My 2 cousins both has twins.
4. Did anyone close to you die? no
5. What countries did you visit? Did a short trip to Ensenada, Mexico.
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?  sleep
97. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? November 4th, that one's obvious
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Registeding 86,000 African Americans in Virginia.
9. What was your biggest failure?  winter LA
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? moving to Boston made me sick, or maybe it was one of the many in Aspen.  I've almost bounced back from the bronchitis.
11. What was the best thing you bought? my bike--only $40
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? anyone who made it through to the election
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? some of the higher ups
14. Where did most of your money go? eating at the gas station 3 meals a day while on the election
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Moving to LA, moving to VA, moving to Boston
16. What song will always remind you of 2009?  Kick, Push by Lupe
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder?  happier
ii. thinner or fatter?  oh, fatter, damn election
iii. richer or poorer? so poor it hurts
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? sleep
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?  Getting too drunk.  (why, oh why, is this still the same?)
20. How will you be spending Christmas? With the family at the cousin's house and then off to the movies.
22. Did you fall in love in 2008? Mostly out of love, and then a bit into love.
23. How many one-night stands?  Since many of them turned into 2 or 3 night stands, I can safely say just 2.
24. What was your favorite TV program?  Arrested Development
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? Not much hate here.
26. What was the best book you read?  Do Travel Writers Go to Hell?  (Hilarious, and made me realize I probably will never really be a travel writer.)
27. What was your greatest musical discovery? Dan Dyer
28. What did you want and get? Stopping moving (but it didn't happen until Dec. 20th)
29. What did you want and not get? a rewarding travel experience
30. Did you make any new friends this year? Oh lots, this year was all about meeting new folks, a few good ones I'm keeping in contact with
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?  I turned to 27--damn close to 30.  I honestly can't remember what I did.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?  Getting to keep my sweet, sweet California salary.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?  Being on the road for 5 months of it I basically wore the exact same 5 outfits in my suitcase.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?  At the risk of being redundant, Obama
36. What political issue stirred you the most? and again--the election
37. Who did you miss? This list sadly hasn't changed much--David, Libby, Mara, Lauren, and the list gets longer, the more wonderful people I meet in my life.
38. Who was the best new person you met? Tall order, I met many.  I'm going to go with Ade.  Great guy and good times in Virginia.
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008:  We organize because we win.
