(no subject)
Kitten report:
I suspect there will not be something interesting to say everyday about my kitten, as eventually I will have to cross a line that I am not willing to cross in terms of annoying kitty posts in order to do so. All I will say today is, my kitten plays fetch and your's doesn't (probably).
Weekend report:
I had quite a bit of fun this weekend, including a late night dip in the soaking pool, an impromptu dinner party with 12 people, a bbq that featured the kick-ass cooking of J. Merrill, and most importantly, we finally played the game I brought back from Edmonton. "Bang!" is a card game for 4 to 7 people (the more the better I think, having played it with 4 and then 7) that is one of those RPG card games, not unlike the games Munchkin makes fun of. It is in the style of spaghetti (why is there an H in spaghetti??) western and all the cards are in both English and Italian. I was an outlaw both times and we outlaws won both times. I literally shot the sherriff but did not shoot the deputy. How cool am I?
Random web-surf report:
Through an unbelievably weird twist of the web, I found myself on a personal webpage of someone who had a lot of pictures from my favorite band in high school "Lawsuit" where I found this picture of the audience at the Whole Earth Festival (circa. 1993-94ish). If you look in the bottom right hand corner you can see me in my purple shirt, with my boyfriend at the time Pat. I am surrounded by about 15 people that I know. The thing that I find really weird is that I never really realized how similar Pat's haircut and mine were before now. Nor how unflattering that shirt was. So, if you ever wondered what I was like in high school... take a gander.
Work report There are gremlins in the fax machine and nobody knows how to fix it. So I am learning about fax machines online all day tomorrow. Weee!
