Lucky or unlucky?
Is it possible to feel lucky and unlucky at the same time?
On my way to work today, I noticed that my car was acting really weird. Kinda pulling from side to side. I didn't give it much thought since it was pretty windy. But when I was taking my exit to get my office building, I heard a really loud noise that sounded like it was coming from my car. I turned down my radio that had been blaring during my entire trip to work and knew exactly what it was: I had a flat tire. Again. The third one in about two months.
I have no idea how long I drove on it while it was flat (going 65+ mph almost the entire way, too). I'm lucky I didn't get in an accident. Of course, I'm unlucky in the fact that: #1, it's my third flat tire in a month; #2, I now have to change the tire during my lunch break; and #3, I am wearing khaki pants today that are going to get filthy while I change the tire. Good thing I made Tony teach me how to change my last flat tire without any help. I just hope I remember how to do everything.
