I had an absolutely amazing weekend. Friday night, Tony and I went and saw "21." Awesome, awesome movie. Highly recommended.
Saturday, I indulged in the best kind of retail therapy: shopping with giftcards. I got new jeans, new panties, and Tony's birthday present. Granted, my giftcards didn't cover the entirety of the purchases, but it was still nice to not have to spend a boatload of my own money. Saturday night, I went to dinner at Chili's with Laura (aka Roomie). It was the first time we'd seen each other in over a year, and it was great to catch up with her. We were at the restaurant for almost 3 hours, and the time just flew by. After that, I went downtown to meet Frenchie, who was in town from England. We just had a couple drinks together, but it was still a good time, since I hardly ever get to see him. I stayed out until almost 1 AM, which is pretty uncharacteristic of me, but I had a blast. Even though I had to get up at 6 AM the next morning because...
I had a floorset at Bath & Body Works, but we got done at 10 AM instead of noon like planned. Later that afternoon, I visited Tony at work and he showed me the model apartments. I started packing for my trip to Washington, then met JoHannah at Olive Garden for dinner. I went to bed early though, because the weekend was very busy, and I was exhausted! I'm still extremely tired and can't stop yawning!
Today is my and Tony's 3 year anniversary. We're going out to dinner at an Italian restaurant (not sure which one yet), and not really sure if we'll do anything else. I leave for Washington tomorrow, and I'll be there until Sunday visiting friends and family.
Oh, and since nobody guessed two of the movie quotes from my last post, I'll go ahead and say what movies they were from. #3 is from "The Prestige," which is an incredible movie, and if you haven't seen it, you must! That quote was probably the most difficult one I posted. #9, which I'm really surprised nobody guessed, is from "Pulp Fiction." Uma Thurman says it to John Travolta's character right before they win the dance contest at Jackrabbit Slim's.
