6 more days of classes and yet i'm not smiling
SCHOOL'S ALMOST OUT. Seniors have their finals, yearbooks come out tomorrow, and we have 3 essays due in English. Usually, it's a sign of summer and of fun, but I'm really not looking forward to the year ending. I don't want to move on to 11th grade, I'm quite happy where I am. Once we take the last final, half of our highschooling will be over.
Today, during halfstudy, I went to see Mr. Cain about that grade that I got. We went over it together and he brought it up to an 80. We spent the whole study talking about Once and Future King in the Writing Center at one of those little desks. He also mentioned that he's going to make the next quiz a group quiz because he knows that not everyone reads. When he said that I told him how I hated spark notes for some reason. It's true. I never use them. Anyway, he also told me that he would lend me the Morrie video. After class that day he needed to give me a worksheet for OAFK, so i met him in the Writing Center and Chrissie was there too. I expressed my "not wanting school to end" thing, and when Chrissie said WHY? I changed it to, "well, the rest of the classes can end, just not this one. I mean, we'll never be able to have Mr. Cain again EVER." She just said yeah, that's true, you really are the best teacher, from what I've heard of the others. Then we both agreed that we'd choose him for a teacher over anyone else ever. He just got all modest and named off other good teachers. Gosh, I'm gonna miss that class.
