It was a fun day today.
-Still working on the science projects on starfish. I’m in charge of the presentation. I’ll do it later.
- In Economics we’re watching some movie. It’s pretty good. Almost walked into Mr. Konstant today and also almost didn’t recognize him without the goatee.
- English was fun, as always. We discussed as a class the dramatic moments we chose in movies and TV and our life. Mr. Cain talked about his kids more than he usually does. He said a dramatic moment in his life was the birth of his children. It’s the most I’ve heard him say about them in one sitting. I also asked him what he would recommend as a good English elective for me to take and asked if he taught any. He said he didn’t teach any because the people that do teach them have been teaching them for years and until one of them either leaves or dies, he won’t get the job. That’s too bad. I want to have him as a teacher again. During the discussion in class, he had asked us if we ever have meaningful conversations with our friends. Someone said something about lunch, and Bekka and I looked right at each other. I also looked up at Mr. Cain and the look he had on his face almost seemed as if he knew we were thinking of Jess and how we always talk about him at lunch (we’ve told him in that past that he’s a popular conversation topic). Other than that, I just told him that nearly all my meaningful conversations are had in his class. He said he tries to make them that way. I love that class.
- Jackie is going on the outing club camping trip this weekend, so I know another girl going. She said it they aren’t strict about segregating genders into tents. So if I knew a guy going I could have just bunked with him. Of course I don’t know a guy going (besides Brian), so it doesn’t matter.
Driver's ed - BORING. Made a birthday card for britt's dad and when we brought her home, I ran in and we gave it to him. June 28th...
