My thoughts on the
matter:
If a company is going to do a widespread purge like this, that company has an obligation to investigate what they're purging. Are the things getting deleted legitimate threats? Are they accurate, nonfictional accounts that could have serious real life repercussions, or are they simply a lonely man's fantasies, or a fangirl's creativity sparked? I want to stamp out sexual crimes as much as the next human being (I watch Law and Order SVU, guys, I know what's up XD), and while I think there could definitely be more laws passed and actions taken to further that effort (laws and actions that would step on our free speech just a little), ridding the country/internet of pedophilia should not happen by recklessly deleting all signs of it, be they legitimate or no. Then it's just superficial. Superficial, the purpose lost. The crusade is noble, but the means are not, and it's sad because people are just getting mad when they should really be pleased that some action is being taken against sex crimes. And I mean, I'm mad.
So that's my two cents.
Non-flocked in case anyone wants to read it.
