This is the trust tree and the way that it works is you tell somone something because you are scarred and upset and need some advice and figure you can trust them with whatever comes out of your mouth however vile, surprising, upsetting or in this case completely expected the tidbit of knowledge should always be kept between the two of you.
My trust is not something I give lightly, and my word is something I uphold. I expect that from m truest friends also.
