Wow!
So April 9th ended up being the best fucking night of my life EVER.
My Dad tricked me! Surprised me! Shocked me! He had been telling me for a couple weeks that on April 9th, my Aunt Sadie was coming up from Florida and he was going to go to Boston to go see her and he wanted me to go with him. Just me. Yeah I thought that was a little weird but I didn't say anything about it.
When we got to Boston, he took me to a resturaunt and we sat down for a sec and he said. "Lin.. I kind of lied about something.. I think you should just see for yourself though..". Confused and nervous I took a folded paper that he handed me. I seriously thought it was gonna be something bad, I was shaking. I opened the papers and... IT WAS FUCKING TICKETS TO GO SEE DEMETRI FUCKING MARTIN! I was so happy I screamed and everyone looked at me funny.
I got the best fucking seats too. I was two tables away at first but no one showed up for the first table so I just moved right up when the show started. I was basically staring at his bawls the whole time (not really, thats just how close I was). The FIRST thing Demetri said was "Hey.. so what happened to you? Did your friends ditch you or something?" I laughed (of course) and said "Naww, my Dad's back there, I just moved up" and he said "Yeah, you were just like fuck it! Right? Hell yeah!" He also asked my name and when he was on the keyboard, the first line to the song he sang was about me, and he thanked me personally. Oh and I have his water bottle too.
So. Amazing. I love Demetri. It still feels like such a dream.
