Stephen King Wants Lindsay Lohan to Play Carrie in Upcoming Remake

Stephen King, the legendary one-and-only master of horror, is taking part in the upcoming MGM remake of his classic, “Carrie.” The role originally played by Sissy Spacek may be taken over by Lindsay Lohan!

Sources reveal that Stephen King has his eyes on the longtime troubled starlet, and there’s no surprise to that because Lindsay does look a little like the title character. The movie, “Carrie,” is based off the horror novel he wrote in the 1960s. In fact, it was his first ever novel, and Stephen King was unhappy with it. He tossed it in the garbage! It’s thanks to his wife, Tabitha, that the world has been able to enjoy this cult classic in paperback and on the silver screen. Mad props go to Tabitha King for helping unleash the genius that is King.

So some people aren’t happy with the idea of Lindsay Lohan playing the title role in the remake. Her face is all puffy with botox, and Carrie in the story was a natural beauty. Still, it needs to be taken into consideration that this is the year 2011 and it’s supposed to be a revamping of the movie for modern times. Lindsay Lohan is perfect for the role, and who doesn’t want to see her covered in pig’s blood after her schoolmates pelt her with tampons and sanitary napkins in the opening scene?
