Maybe I'm naive, but Sean Penn is like 48 years old. I just can't see Lindsay with someone old enough to be her father...

I'm actually hoping they do a movie together though.

i've got mad love and respect for sean. he speaks his mind, hates tabloids and has gone through a tumultuous and overexposed relationship himself, years ago. he is well respected in hollywood. and talented.

if he and lindsay could work on a movie project together or if he could recommend her to other directors/producers and help her to get a job - it would be absolutely great.

It wouldn't surprise me if he took a protective/nurturing stance towards her, seeing some of his own experiences. I am 1000% certain there's not even a hint of any romantic relationship at all no matter what any tabloid says, but I could totally see him taking her under his wing if she asked for his advice/support in getting work.

It makes me happy to think of Sean Penn or others helping her because my personal protective instincts will do nothing for her in Hollywood or real life since I don't know her and likely never will.

And I agree, he's a terrific actor.
