Holidays Are Here
My holiday weekend was.... ok I guess.
Wednesday night Missy and I went to Carlys for a little bit, then since it was "The Biggest Bar Night of The Year", Mikes sister babysat Taylor for us while we went out. His sister was in town so we actually had a sitter on a Wednesday night, woohoo! So, Mike, Missy and I went to Crazy 8's and had a couple drinks. We were only there for a couple hours but OH MY GOSH it was SO busy we could hardly walk! Mike and I like hid in the back corner of the bar and didnt even move because it wasnt worth it. We couldnt make our way thru the crowd, lol!
Thursday we drove up north and went to dinner with my Dad. He took us to Mountain Jacks and then we went back to his place and watched "Elf". We all went to be around 9:30 that night, lol.
Friday Mike and I faught on and off about "stuff" and once we made up we drove around town which depressed us both, but at the same time it also gave us both the motivation to start to save up as much money as possible each month so we can move back when our lease is up. We then took Taylor to the mall. I got a new lip ring and Taylor got a Snow White headband. I was supposed to see my Mom, but she got pissed off at me and told me not to come over and I havent talked to her since. Oh, well.. what can I do? It hurts, but hopefully she will get over it by Christmas. My Dad got off work early and we took Taylor to the annual town Christmas tree lighting. They closed off Main Street and have a 3 story tall Christmas tree that they lit while the street full of people sang Christmas Carols. It was totally a seen out of the usual small town Christmas movie. It was fun. We took Taylor to TRY to get her to see Santa afterwards but she screamed bloody murder and we left. After Taylor was in bed Mike and I went to the casino and visited. We played some penny slots and Mike won $15. Woo hoo! lol! I chatted with some friends and we were in bed by 2 a.m.
Saturday we drove home and slummed the rest of the day. Missy came over and she and I went to Crazy 8's and had a few drinks. She was sooo hyper and drunk. I love it when she gets like that. She cheers me up and makes me forget about my every day drama/stress for the moment.
Yesterday Taylor went to a Christmas party with my Grandparents at their Belgian Bike club they belong to. Taylor again refused to see Santa. Mike and I went and saw the "Tenacious D: Pick of Destiny" movie while Taylor was at the party. It was pretty stupid, but at the same time it was so stupid we laughed thru the whole thing, lol.
Welp! That about sums up my weekend. Hope everyone else had a good holiday.
