its raining outside.
ummmm....
I'm still breaking out randomly in hives. that kinda sucks.
I had to work from 4 to 11 tonight. I got home at 11:30 because I was the only one closing bakery and it was lame. different baker tonight though. hes cool. except he really gets in the way, unlike alex who is awesome and doesn't put EVERY SINGLE baking rack in the FRONT of the house, which incidently makes it very hard to close EVERYTHING. I have to be back at work in aprroximately 6 hours and 40 minutes. I work 7 to 3 tomorrow. ick. well, not really. my only complaint is that I had to close tonight so I really don't want to get up early tomorrow morning and do the same. I'd rather close again. oh well. I really do like my job, so I'm not going to complain.
except for this: new girl, kailey, DIDN'T DO A THING I ASKED HER TO DO! I was working bakery, she was on cafe registers and was out at 9. so I asked her to please close the cafe register area so I'd have less to do after she left. And closing cafe registers isn't much AT ALL. I even told her everything she had to do. NONE OF IT GOT DONE and Nicky and I had to pick up her slack. we were pretty pissed. Kailey spent half of the time she was on the clock talking to her friends.
its called work for a reason.
fuck that.
oh, and these guys came in--one was wearing a platnium blonde wig--and ordered food. they all gave me stupid names and insisted that I not give them pagers so they could hear "Dorito" and "Benji Franklin" called over the intercom. how original. yeah maybe it wouldn't be so lame if they weren't like the MILLIONTH person to ever do that.
anyway. wow its really pouring outside. sweet.
tomorrow after work I'm coming home and sleeping.
actually thats a lie. I'm going down to connecticut for the night. yay for three hour drives. and cars that get good gas mileage. me gusta--the awesome gas milege, not the three hour drive.
*sigh* its now 12:40 am, remind me why I'm still up?
PS the life and death oF Peter Sellers is a very very very good bio pic staring Geoffrey Rush (Captain Barboza, Pirates of the Caribbean) with Charlize Theron and John Lithgow (hehe Dirty Rotten Scoundrels!! and lots of other things but I loved DRS so much) and I highly recommend it. It is an HBO film and very clevery done. its probably one of my favorite bio pics to date because they tell his story in a different and unexpected way that took me a second to figure out what was going on but definately worked. oh, and its directed by Stephen Hopkins, not the signer of the declaration or independence, but did traffic(miniseries), 24 (fox tv show), Predator 2, Tube Tales (still can't believe I watched that), and Lost in Space.
its now 10 till one am. goodnight.
