I'm kind of surprised at what I listen to over and over again. I'm assuming these play counts started about two years ago when I got my laptop, but some of the top songs I've only had for a few months. So here they are, my sonorous obsessions. More for my documentation than anything, but some of these songs you should really hear.
1 (with a bullet) Blue Foundation - Eyes on Fire (Twilight soundtrack) 37 plays
2 Cat Power - He War (summer jam 08, one of maybe ten songs not with its whole album) 32
3 Smashing Pumpkins - Bleeding the Orchid (one of only two songs I like on Zeitgeist and I rocked that shit constantly before going to the worst pumpkins show ever) 27
4 Brad Sucks - Making Me Nervous (some random Canadian found on Pandora who does not suck) 26
5 Elliott Smith - Tomorrow Tomorrow (on XO, fav album of his, fav song) 25
6 Girl Talk - Minute By Minute (on Night Ripper. this one is funny because I really only like about ten seconds of the whole mix where he samples Better than Ezra's "Good" and 50 cent. I've had this song for all of two months and played it to fucking death.) 25 plays
7 Alkaline Trio - Hell Yes (on Remains and I totally get it) 23
8 The Black Keys - Just A Little Heat (on Magic Potion, makes my knees weak with sweet sweet blues riffs and makes me want to uncontrollably sway in circles with my hands in the air)
9 Brad Sucks - Look and Feel Ten Years Younger (seriously second time on this list. he very much does not suck. all should check this shit out...he outranked Zep, Floyd, and the Beatles on Lindsay's obsessive play list.) 20 plays

11 Silversun Pickups - Well Thought Out Twinkles (on Carnavas. A very Lindsay song.) 20 plays
12 The Black Ghosts - Full Moon (another Twilight track, but really clever classical sounding guitar and some keyboard bell sounds. I love it for no reason having to do with Twilight. Swear.) 20
13 Smashiing Pumpkins - Soma (Siamese Dream. so much I could say about this one, but in summation, it will always be in my top twenty) 19
14 Dandy Warhols - And Then I Dreamt of Yes (from their new album Earth to the Dandy Warhols which was a major letdown. but I like this song because it sounds nearly exactly like my favorite song on their last album.) 17
