(no subject)
omg..lastnight was the CIF semi-finals and we had to play Torrey Pines again. I went with the Tunney's. here's how it went...
Since we beat TP on their own "turf" litterally last time..everyone was expecting to have a VERY tuff game and us win. well, we got out to a bad start. Toledo (number one in his division, wide reciever) wasn't catching most of Tunney's (starting QB and Katelin's bro. also number one in his division) passes and plus they had like 3 guys on him so it was a bit hard anyways.
then when TP got their first TD we stepped it up. we were able to tie it up by halftime. after that...it was all downhill. TP got another TD and we couldn't quite understand their defense. near the end of the game we were so close to tieing it up and hoping to go into over time but TP had the ball and went for the feild goal. they got the 3 extra points and there was only 2 1/2 minutes left in the game and we had no chance. we ended up losing and we aren't going any farther in football so that was our last game.
I feel so bad for the seniors like Tunney and Toledo b/c they got so far and it's very unfortunate that that had to be our last game. they did so well. I'm so proud that we got as far as we did b/c we didn't even think that we would beat TP the first time and we did! we thought that that first TP game would have been our last. but we got so much farther and if we had just beat them one more time we would have made it to Qualcomm. o well. we did our best! GO LCC!
