things are looking up
So, I have a new vehicle. My dad got it for free from someone that he works with. It is a 1983 tan Toyota Corolla station wagon. There is just one issue, it is a stick and I don't know how to drive it! My dad is going to be teaching me on the weekends after it has repairs made. It needs an alternator, a compressor, a new wind shield, wind shield wipers, a new gas gage, brakes, etc. There is a reason that it was free. But, it runs very well. It will just be difficult getting used to using a stick. I go to work in about two hours and work until 7:15 tonight. I work from 7-3:30 tomorrow, and 3:30-12:00 Friday. I don't want to work on Thanksgiving, but I work at a grocery store, so I really have no choice. Today will be the worst day, because everyone will be there shopping for their meal tomorrow. I am accepting the fact that it just wasn't meant to be with Myles, and have moved on. It is hard, because I thought we were good together, but there were so many other issues. It is so nice to be off of school right now. I really needed these days to myself, well...besides working. I finished Season 3 of the L Word, oh my god! I am in love with it. It was depressing compared to season 1 and 2, but it was still very entertaining. RIP Dana! Happy Thanksgiving to all of my US friends! I will update again soon!
