how about this weather!
I absolutely LOVE talking about the weather! It changes all the time, it never talks back, doesn't get offended at whatever I say, doesn't mind being talked about, is safer than politics/religion and more interesting than sports. And above all- everybody has to face it sooner or later!
Today the old buddy had a surprise in store for me- sunshine! I got so giddy by the nice light in the sky that I went around smiling the entire day. When I finally looked up at the rest of the world I found the rest of the world smiling! Everybody were sitting outside, the faces turned towards the sun. I swear- we are a nation of sun-worshipers!
It had benefits like a nice jacket instead of the one that keep out rain and wind. No beret, no gloves, no big boots. Boy, I love spring!
It makes it almost bearable to have been without trips to Egypt this season. Soon the sun will be back in earnest and I can load up on light!
I tried (and possibly failed) to define the feeling inside- I feel like clouds that make the sound of tiny birds.
