Christmas celebration at my parents place was wonderful! I have a nice, warm feeling still. The food was good, the train ride was quiet and un-crowded, the gifts were appreciated and the gifts I got was very thoughtful. I got to hang out with my grandmother, aunt, uncle, my parents and two out of three brothers. As it turned out, there were trains going home later than I first thought so we stayed just as long as we wanted (at first I thought we would have to go home right after dessert but we stayed a couple of hours after that).
Which brings us to today.
The final episode of
Ombord Franz Ferdinand is up, it's the epilogue. A friend said that in whole it's a great pilot for my longer project Den tickande staden (translated: The Ticking City), a steampunk story set in Malmö as it never was. I have way too much fun writing in that universe. Anyway, it's good to have finished it, and Sweetest was pleased with his calendar.
But I was rather beat after the last days of writing and publishing on the same day, so I called this a day off. I've not done a single thing today. I've watched The Big Bang Theory and we took a walk down to the sea. That's all. It was marvelous and I feel rested.
That feeling will go away when I open the manuscript I got in return from my editor. But that will have to wait until tomorrow.
