The best store ever!
I work at the most wonderful place ever! Not only do I get to fondle books all day long, I have customers that wait patiently when we're only one person by the counter during lunch hour, they ask fun questions, give us compliments for our blog, chat about their favorite things and finally - when we got invaded by the largest spider I've seen in ages one of our customers helped us get rid of it! He valiantly went into the kitchen and carried the beastly thing outside. A hero!
All in a day's work.
Tomorrow's the last day before vacation. I'm still not used to this concept - to get to take time off from work and keep the pay. I've only had it once before, that was last year. About time some would say, I'm old enough to have had paid vacation for at least the last decade but I've just never found the right job to settle with.
Vacation will be all about books, writing and sleeping late. If the weather cooperate it'll be about beach and swimming in the ocean as well.
