the curse is upon me
Allergies are here to stay. They are the setback of spring and summer. I like the warmer seasons but they don't seem to like me very much...
I sleep a LOT! Around 9 pm I start to get tired, by 10, if I'm not in bed already, I fall asleep sitting up. When I wake up in the morning I can't move, I'm still that tired. After a few hours in bed, staring at the ceiling I get up. In the bathroom mirror I can't seem to find myself. The ghost looking back have bags under the eyes that are deep and puffy, sunken cheeks and cracked lips (I guess that comes from breathing through the mouth all night long) and a severely bad breath.... Half an hour later I could guess it was me looking back, but just barely...
That set aside the weather is wonderful! Today I spent the entire morning on the balcony. I had to wrap myself in blankets and a robe but it was glorious anyway! I had warm tea and cookies made by my good friend Raz (comfort in a bag!). That I had to read Madame Bovary was unfortunate but didn't diminish the enjoyment!
I tried to take pictures of the rats today (and many other days as well) but they are still too excited by life in general to be still enough! The white one has developed patterns in the colour and the black feels a little stiffer. I look forward to post some of the pictures (if I only get the hang of my photoshop...) even though all I catch on camera are a backside, a swift movement, a tail...
