Why do today what you can put off until tomorrow?

3:15 in the morning. I got home about half an hour ago; scored a lift from qed. I was at the home of
gharbad. We watched some television while waiting for enough people to make themselves known to get a game going. Waited for awhile on that, but that was fine; I enjoyed just sitting and relaxing for awhile. When people came, we played a couple of games of Bang and then a couple of games of Chrononauts. Also, on account of
greek_artemis is awesome, there was pie--pie and real whipped cream. Freshly whipped, no less. I consumed some of my alcohol, although I was the only one present who chose to imbibe such beverages this evening (and this not long after claiming to
gharbad that I don't like to drink when I'm the only one doing so).

It was definitely a good evening. Of course, now I have the options of either staying up yet later now to try to get things packed up, or sleeping for three or four hours and then trying desperately to be packed by noon. Uh. Might happen, but I wouldn't bet the family farm on it, if you know what I mean. Tomorrow I move some stuff into the house I'll be in for the summer and then go home for about a week. I'm coming back to go to Joe's cousin's wedding, which will be nice, and actually pretty convenient; I can't just wait until the very end of the month to return from Sarnia anyway, since my brother is just coming home that weekend after his exams. Unfortunately, I guess that means I won't be home at the same time as him. I'll have to tear myself away from Joe to go visit on a weekend or two this summer.

Anyway, I think I'm going to go with the sleep-and-then-pack plan. I'm already tired, it's late, and I'm probably still at least somewhat tipsy. Might as well wait until morning.
