Does anyone have this problem
One of the most frustrating things about cat ownership (and probably pet ownership generally) is that pretty much everything animals do has multiple possible explanations. Loki has an issue with chewing. He's starting chewing cords, which he hasn't done since he was a kitten- but because the main time he does it is when he's trying to wake me up to feed him, I'm thinking that's probably an attention-seeking behavior. The other odd chewing thing he does is to steal figurines off a low display shelf I have- but instead of batting them around or knocking them down and forgetting about them, he likes to get them between his back teeth and grate them. He doesn't appear to chew anything else this way, and he doesn't attack my furniture.
