Already trawling through recs on
sherlockbbc has led me to two new authors I'd never seen before and whose fics I'd somehow missed, and has led to many delightful things being added to my diigo list. (Link to my diigo list is on the sidebar, if you like the cut of my jib and would care to see more of my recs.)
Lead Me To the Truth by Lavellington - Light J/S, very nice meditations on John's friendship/something more with Sherlock and on John's relationship with Harry.
No Bed is Too Narrow by thus-far anon - It's a remix of
kate_lear's Winter's Delights, which is probably by far my favorite fic in the John-meets-Sherlock's-family subgenre. It should not have been possible to do a remix that was at least as good as the original, but somebody did it. I can't wait till the reveal.
Rustification by SarahT - Everything by this author is WIN but this one is especially great. Her Mycroft is so Mycrofty.
A Very Delicate Mission by SarahT - Another great one. Characterization on everyone is fabulous.

Sic Gorgiamus Allos Subjectatos Nunc by etothepii - He writes the best AUs in creation, seriously. This is an Addams Family fusion.
The Anecdote of the Amnesiac Apidistra by AJHall - Another author who turns everything she touches to gold. This is Torchwood/Sherlock. I don't know shit about Torchwood, but I know this fic is beyond brilliant.
Bromance Isn't Dead by cyerus - Epic Lestrade & John bromance. EPIC. They are best friends forever.
