So I got tired of mentally grousing and I changed the "current location" (aka the most useless 'current' indicator ever) to "current book." Thus, I can now express to you what books I am reading and thinking about, because unlike my location, those change on a regular basis and are much more interesting. (They are unlikely to be locateable on google maps, however; although the idea does intrigue me.)
This afternoon I finished "The Word for World is Forest" by Ursula Le Guin, which was good, although a bit flat by the standards of her later work, I'd have to say. My current book is a re-read, because it brings back fond memories of discovering the joy of smut and is so delightfully depraved. I wouldn't recommend it though, because Andrews cannot write for shit.
