Strange day
Incidentally, if you wondered why I haven't been around it's because I'm at my parents'. So, not much AIM time and not much to say on LJ. Except this week is going SO FAST. Woes.
This is a strange day, because I dreamed in fanfic last night. Have you ever done that? I bet you have. There were actually two dreams- one was the Lost Chapters dream, which I've been having in various forms since I was 10 years old. Basically it consists of me being shocked and delighted to discover some TMNT movie or series of comics that I never knew about before. (True Story: I actually read some Mirage V1 when I was very young, and then forgot all about it, but my subconscious didn't. So all the years I was watching the TMNT toon I was having dreams about a much darker version of the Turtles- eventually, of course, I found Mirage again and realized that the whole thing was eerily familiar.) This dream also came true, in a way, when in high school I discovered the first two issues of the Image TMNT comics, which I hadn't even known existed, at a flea market in North Carolina and was in some sort of ninja trance for 3 days.
Then the other dream was the actual fanfic- took place in this postapocalyptic present-future. I wrote a lot of it down, because some of it seemed usable at the time. I hope it is, but you never know; stuff like that seems brilliant during the first 15 minutes you're awake but you realize later that the whole thing is deeply stupid. So we'll see. Anyway, it made me very happy, but I've been in kind of a weird mood all day. Meh. Maybe I'll go read some fanfiction or something...
