Awww! And a Fairy Jesus for you~ And You! And You!

And so, in parting,

You dance me
Out
And pull me
In
So fast I think
I need a
Bin
How lovely
This
Thy windswept
Word, and
Ah, for rosy-
Fingered
Dreams of youth
They cackle
So
Like crows we
Must
Depart them.

Am favoriting. this was TOO good.

I LOVE this! You've combined three things that I adore - Victorian Britain, Scooby-Doo-like mysteries and Jack/Ten - into a fantastic story that was just a pleasure to read. The small details you come up with - like comparing 51st century pheromones to the scent of flowers - make your writing beautifully rich and delightful. I admit, I had a bit of trouble keeping the OCs apart, but not enough to distract from the story as a whole.

I'm so glad that you're working on a sequel to this, I really, really want to read more from this 'verse!

Thanks for the kind words!

I'm poking along at the third story, which is tentatively titled "Adventureland". It was meant to be a short ficlet for a stocking stuffer, and is now over 2400 words. I am not a fast writer, and seem to be incapable of writing short fics other than 100-word drabbles. But I have never yet abandoned a fic, so it will get finished--eventually.
