We're hunting for wabbits. I mean. Betas. Actually, I think I used that joke last time too. Bad Jay.
ashinae and I are participating in harlequinbbang this round, and we're looking to find someone who'd be interested in betaing. It's Avengers fandom, very AU, and the description we gave when we signed up goes like this:
Loki, able to shift his sex, is sent to Asgard to be Thor's bride as part of a peace treaty between Asgard and Jotunheim. While Lady Loki eventually falls in love with Thor and throws herself repeatedly at his perfectly chiselled form, Thor has exactly zero sexual interest in her. Meanwhile, Thor meets a handsome young stablehand and, much to his confusion, finds himself physically attracted to him, while not noticing at all that this young stablehand has the same skintone/hair colour/eye colour as his wife.
This story features a couple of incredibly awkward attempts at sex when Loki is in female form, as well as some M-rated m/m further into the story. And Thor being absolutely for shit at using his words. Ever. Oh, and it's 38K.
What we're hoping to find is someone who's able to do a full beta job on this sucker--typos, grammar, punctuation, plot, sentence structure, et cetera. If it needs it, we WANT it to get beat up a little bit in the editing process, rather than getting a thumbs up or thumbs down and a typo check.
