Hey hey

Sorry I have needed some time to answer!
Indeed, it would be quite cool to meet this summer. I have yet to confirm you that I can join!

My advice for your vacation :

The main and first question is : do you have a car?
Second question is : do you already have an accommodation?
And, of course, what you are looking for : tanning? walking? partying?

ST TROPEZ
St Tropez is definitely NOT the place to be, unless
- you are really rich (but, really)
- you know really rich guys (in that case, I wanna join
- you like to pretend you are
- you know you are not but you like to be closed to rich guys
I have been there a couple of time, and I had always the feeling that I am in a zoo, even so I have never been able to know whether I was the animal, eating ice cream on the pontoon starring with envy at big Yachts and impressive cars... Or if the fat guy showering with Champagne on the deck was the animal, being watched in its natural environment by curious tourists.

AIX EN PROVENCE
I really love Aix-en-Provence. I have been there only once, but the town is crazy. Quite wealthy (all the usual French luxury shops are there), but really young and a cool night life. Moreover, the surroundings are stunning.

MARSEILLES
Marseilles is a must-seen, especially this summer. This year, this town (third biggest in France) is "the European Capital of culture 2013". As a result, big cultural events will be organized during the summer. I have never been there, and I have to say that the city is infamously known in France for its violent suburbs, drugs platform, etc... but all the friends who have been there told me that the atmosphere is really cool (and less touristic).
If we meet somewhere, I am totally ok to meet there!

Marseilles is also well-known for its Calanques, which are little beaches surrounded by cliffs:

CAP D'AGDE
Big parties - biggest nudism spot of Europe (better to know it before planning to put your towel around there)

MONTPELLIER - BEZIERS - NARBONNE
(close to Spain) Nice - cheaper - but quite touristic too
Montpellier is known to be really cool for parties and for being one of the gay capital of France. The West part of the Mediterranean coast is interesting because, you are near Barcelona, well connected by train.
Some villages are quite nice there : Port-Vendres, Banyuls, Collioure

BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT
Maybe you would be interested in another kind of Coast, far less touristic... like South Bretagne or the Atlantic coast?

Let me know
Sacha

В этом весь Саша... и он прекрасен.

friends, voyage
