just to be the man who walked 1000 miles to fall down at your door...

So I'm just chilling in Keswick now, waiting for my grandparents and Lois and Donna to get here for dinner. It's the last time we'll get to see my grandparents before they run away to Florida, so my mom really wanted me home, and I complied, of course. A bit tired, though, because I had terrible sleeps for the past two nights.

Thursday afternoon, Nick finally got his ass down to Toronto to see my apartment. I've been bugging him for a while, so it was good to get to show it off. I also got a short ride in his new car, haha. It's so oooooold (you know it's old if it's got a cassette player, haha), but he's a pretty alright driver. At least, he was when I was in the car, which is all I ask for. We didn't really do much (he said he didn't really want to go out, which was alright with me), just chilled with a movie and some TV. Trevor even came out of his cave room and hung out with us for a bit. Nat wasn't there because she was out clubbing. But I didn't go to bed until late, and then talked with Nat for a bit when she got home, so it was around 3 when I really got to sleep, and Nick woke me up at 10 the next morning when he left.

And then yesterday I had to get my butt out of bed to fetch Sam from Yorkdale (for which I was ridiculously late, aaaah!), and then we motored it back down to Dundas to fetch Amy from the coach terminal, and then we waited for Natasha before grabbing some lunch and liquor and heading back to the apartment. It was just the four of us for a while, so we picked up some groceries (and really awesome $.85 glasses!) and then just chilled for a while. Played a game of eucher and then started the drinking game fun around... I don't know... earlier than usual, lol. And more people showed up to pay tribute to Sam, until 1 am rolled around and Jess finally showed up (JESS!), but then it was late and Meghan was already passed out and Amy and Sam were getting tiiiiiiiired. Sleeping happened not long after, but I kept waking up at random points through the night and that was not fun.

Then this morning Sam woke me up at 10 to ask me what time to leave to catch the 11 o'clock bus. Uh, about now, darling. So since I told her I was taking the bus with her, I got my ass out of bed and got dressed and packed really quickly, and said goodbye to everyone who was awake, and Sam and Jess and I headed out to catch a bus. Jess had to leave us as soon as we hit the subway, but Sam and I had a rather enjoyable trip home. I even (briefly) met Sam's semi-famous (I said semi-famous because I hear about her from Sam all the time, lol) friend Nat, which was nice. And I made an origami fish out of my Viva ticket, which isn't so much interesting as a mention of how useless even having those tickets is.

And now I'm home, waiting for everyone to show up so I can eat and sleep and go back to Toronto to finish my German assignment (Montag [that's German for Monday]), study for my second Syntax test (Tuesday) and finish my Varieties project (Friday). AAAH!

peace out
