I remember the day when my journey began...

Part two of my holiday post begins now. For those of you who care.

So Christmas morning was awesome. We always have to wait for mom and dad to wake up before opening anything (stockings included), so I got to sleep until Christa woke up mom and dad at 8 (that's when they said we could wake them up). I got my DS and iPod nano, which were the big things I wanted *smilies*. Other than that, a chair for my dorm, a pillow for my dorm (soooo soft), a bunch of games, makeup stuff, etc. I was excited to get all my music on my nano, and start messing with the DS. Because I find that fun, lol. Nick got his TV, which made him happy. Really happy, lol. Other than that, we chilled. Christa and dad worked on his lego while I sat around and watched (playing DS, of course, lol), and we had a nice family dinner in our pyjamas (oh, I also got new pyjamas - LOVE!)

I had to work on boxing day, which sucks, but at least I get time and a half for it. I worked until 2, then went home and showered and such. The Olivers showed up around 5-ish, so I ate dinner, hung with them, and other things. Then Sam and Amy came over (wooo!) and we went downstairs and watched Saturday Night Fever (hilarious without intending to be, which is the best kind of hilarious), and then chilled out upstairs watching comedy things on the internet, lol. That was just because there wasn't enough time to put on another movie, though. Bah. so thy left at 11 I believe, then I went to sleeeeeeeep.

And then on the 27th I made the arduous journey with my family to Hamilton, a place of fear and loathing. Ok, not really. We went in to see the O'Donnells (making a stop on the way to visit Aunt Gwen and the family). I love my cousins, I love my Aunt Peggy, Uncle John, and Uncle Scott. But I don't love the rest of them, especially when they all get together in one room. They're loud and annoying. And once they get going, there's no stopping them. Which makes it hard to deal with. Had to laugh though, because my mom and uncle John basically told me that I'd need alcohol to get through it. They even let Nick drink, which my mom usually doesn't do. Then again, it's Nick. Mom's almost got two daughters old enough to drink, and she's gone through it all. She's hit that point where it just doesn't matter anymore, lol. So we all got wasted. No, not really, but it would have made a good story. I am not above saying that I was happily buzzed, though, and it made them a lot easier to deal with. Haha!

And then there was yesterday, which was another work day. Ew. I hate work - and it was 9-5, which is just a gross shift at Tim Horton's. But I survived and came home, and Andrea came over after dinner (woo) with Jen and Wolscht, which was nice. We watched a couple chick flicks in my basement, lol. Because chick flicks are underrated. Andrea left around 11 I think... maybe 11:30-12ish, I don't know. Then I went to bed.

And today I went shopping (which is fun) with my mom and Christa. Mainly just for random things. I got Chloe a birthday present, and Amy's christmas present (yes, I know, I'm late, oh well). And socks and underwear, because I needed socks and I love underwear (woo). We tried to find a good coat for me, but all of the good ones were too expensive (bah!). I think that's everything. When we got back I made fun of Mike with Nick and Brendan, because we're all horrible people, and then ate some food and came up here to finish this post. Go me.

Fin.
