you can do the job when you're in town...

Ok, so I'm home for good now until the new year. Woot woot! As much as I sometimes hate Keswick, it's good to be home, especially when I know everyone else is home too. That's exciting. I just wish some of my (my) Toronto people were here, too. Like Petra and Chloë. But other than that, it's good to see everyone. And my family, but they know I love them.

So this weekend I went to see Eragon. I won't spoil it for everyone, but it's probably one of those movies where you should forget about the book, otherwise you'll be very disappointed. If it weren't based on a book, it would be a good movie. But they've left out a lot of stuff that was important in the book, and downplayed a lot of stuff that was huge in the book. But hey, that's what happens I guess. It would probably actually be better to watch the movie, then read the book, because then you'll care about how great the book is, rather than how upsetting the movie is as an adaptation of said book. But hey, that's just me.

Trevor's party was last night, that was a hoot and a half. He let me bring Chloë, which was awesome because I love her, lol. So I showed up and informed everyone about the need to finish the bottle of tequilla I brought, lol. I, myself, only hd one shot before I decided the room was spinning quite enough, and I was done drinking for the night. The beauty of that, of course, was that I could still act tipsy without anyone questioning it, but I was sober enough to laugh at the rest of them, haha. I sobered up in time to help take care of Natasha, too, who finally discovered her limit - I LOVE YOU NAT! Chloe actually helped out a lot because she's used to waaaay worse from her friends in London, lol, so we appreciated her expertise. Trevor was a nice guy and let Nat have a bed to sleep on, and since he wasn't going to use the other half if a girl was in it (Trevor, always proper), I took advantage of that, lol. Nat's a trooper, though. We love her, very much.

Nat, here's how much we love you, direct quote: "Well, a lot of times I make fun of mags, but I take care of people who mean a lot to me, and you mean a lot to me and I know how much you love Natasha, so I decided I'd help take care of her for you." -Chloë

That's how much I love you. You get love by association, lol.

And then today Chloë and I left Trev's around... 9-ish? Maybe? Well, we all know how I have no grasp on time, so we'll say 9-ish lol. Say in Tim Horton's for two hours, and then walked towards Chloë's work (she had to work at noon, right by Trevor's place so it was pretty simple walking), and then I bussed it home and fell asleep until my parents called and said they were on their way, lol. And then they came and brought me home. My mom, ever shrewd, was like "how are you?" and I was like "fine, thank you!" and she was like "A little hungover?" and I laughed and was like "actually, no, I sobered up before I went to sleep. It's easier that way." And she laughed. I love my mommy.

And now I'm here. Christa and I are going shopping tomorrow to Build-a-Bear for Chloë, because that's what we're getting each-other for Christmas lol. That's how we roll. We decide to have holiday traditions that require little to no thought. It's nice.

Oh, and Meghan, if you read this before I talk to you: I have your journal, and your mom's christmas present. You can pick them up any time this week, except Monday because I'm going shopping, as mentioned above. Unless you're here after two, or before nine. Then it's fine. ...I'm done now.

peace out
-Lynsey
