I wanna I wanna I wanna touch you...

So procrastination takes hold. I do not want to work on my pragmatics assignment but it's due on the third and I'm going away this weekend so I really should be. "Should" being the important word in that last sentence. Blah.

There actually isn't a whole lot new in my life. I exist in a pretty routine world, it seems. Well, mostly I've just been working my behind off on these projects. But nothing spectacular has happened. I went shopping on Sunday instead of being productive, and bought the new AAR cd, hence it being in my subject line lol. I didn't even know any of the songs, but I love AAR - they're so much fun to listen to, so I just picked it up. Also, it was only $12, which was an incentive. I also scored Cute is What We Aim For - they have a really nice sound, but I only had a few songs so I juts picked up the CD. AND! I bought a few dresses that I can wear out, which I'm pretty pleased about cause they were super inexpensive. They'll be waiting until next weekend to be worn, though (well, one of them will, I guess).

OH! And I'm a total convert to loose-leaf teas. Stacey had a little travel bodum (Bodum is the brand, but it's like a french press in a travel mug) at work, which intrigued everyone, so I bought one. And she had this caramel tea in it that was truly delicious, so I bought some of that too, haha. And a couple other flavours - one was called Turkish Delight, which was not only delicious but also made me think of Narnia, so I bought it. But it's sooooo good. I mean, I knew it wasn't the cream of the crop, so to speak, but I thought what I was drinking before was still tea, in some form. I was wrong.

I'm pretty stoked to get out this weekend, though. Everyone loves to get away for a bit, and throwing in a day of pure relaxation is icing on the cake. Or, like, a whole other cake entirely. I get two cakes, that's how cool this is, haha. But everything seemed to work out in our favour, which is awesome: Nat managed to con her parents into giving us the car, Meg is also coming which means cheaper gas - AND Meg scored us a place to stay, free of charge (although I'm thinking we should probably pick up some beer for them or something, cause that's still cheaper than a hotel room haha). But yes, it worked out wonderfully :).

So that's my life. I'm sort of living from weekend to weekend this month - this weekend is Québec, next weekend is Andrea's party (woo limo!), and then it's Bhavna's birthday (and my sister's, but that will just be a family affair lol), and then it's Nat's birthday. And somewhere between all of this I have to go to school and work. Yay!

Ok, I've procrastinated enough here. From now on, all procrastinating will be productive - I've got to file off my damn nails (the gel tips can't be soaked off, apparently, cause they're UV hardened). It's hell on my actual nails, and it's making me sad, but I want to be able to get a proper manicure from the spa, dammit! blah.

LOVE!
