scary.
i'm so sick of buildings near me going up in flames.
the one this morning was a couple blocks down but such a sad story. you can find it on the news. i don't feel like posting a link.
an 80 year old man that had lived there for 40 years died. he was the last person to still be living there, today was his last day prior to being evicted b/c they were turning them into condos. at least he lived his final day in his home. i wonder if he set the fire. or if the developer did to make him leave. or if it really was an accident. who knows. either way, so sad and so scary.
a few weeks ago the building directly across from me was on fire. luckily it wasn't too horrible, only destroyed one unit and no one was hurt. but it was still terrifying to watch that from my patio at 6 in the morning.
blah. no more fires please. it's just intensifying my already debilitating fear. seriously i wake up in the middle of the night to make sure the apartment isn't aflame and the stove is off and things are unplugged. i've been like this for as long as i can remember, and it just keeps getting worse.
