so i got the results of the 2nd test i ran on my kitty's bloodwork (fructosamine test) and he is NOT diabetic! woohoo! glucose was just elevated due to how much stress he was under while at the vet. god i am so relieved. all i need to do now is get the dog on a rx diet for her urine crystals and they're good to go. phew. i did not want to put my

YAY!! Pete had/has diabetes and instead of giving him insulin, I experimented with switching him to an only wet food diet. I guess dry food has lots of added sugars and other crap cats don't need. Guess what? It totally worked...His glucose levels balanced out and he's a much happier kitty, peeing less gallons than before. It's more expensive, but he's my OLD MAN.
