Tigers won 8-6. At one point they were losing 0-5, which was when I pretty much gave up on them. Fortunately, Cleveland screwed up by changing pitchers, and the Tigers came back from behind.
I wore my 3" wedge sandals and didn't fall on my ass once! I rule! And margaritas at the stadium are very tasty! I recommend strongly!
Before the game, we ate at the gourmet buffet in MGM Grand Casino. The cosmopolitans there are very tasty and very strong. I also recommend strongly! Overhead music in MGM Grand Casino - surprisingly good. In the bar I heard Depeche Mode and New Order. At dinner, I heard OMD - If You Leave, from the Pretty in Pink soundtrack. pmoodie ! I think someone is trying to tell us that we have to watch that movie this weekend.
Day 5 of the Activia yogurt challenge (they were giving away 2- packs at the grocery store, and I had coupons so I thought I'd try it. ) I pretty much thought it was a bunch of bunk, but this morning, after eating and drinking unwisely last night (loads of meat, desserts, and booze), my stomach feels great!
Buzz (an electrician here, real name Walter) loaned me 18 CDs to put on my computer at work :D Yes sylo_tode , I will bring them home. From a quick peek in the bag, I see Tom Waits, Rancid, the Dream Syndicate, Sonic Youth, White Stripes... Yes, this is a good music day.
