It's Happening!

Can you believe it? I know I can't. Not hardly. But it's finally happening. For ME! My young adult novel - MISTAKEN IDENTITY is being published by Cricket Cottage Publishing! I am juiced, pumped, feverish, tingly, knocked-out, trippin' HAPPY!  And, get this - July 16, 2013 is the release date! Really? OMG! Pinch me, please! No, not there! Hah! I seriously am experiencing an ego trip here. Please excuse my braggart moment. But allow me this one time...that is till the next one! Pause with me for a second to thank all the people that made this possible - Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators - regional advisor - Linda R. Bernfeld, Florida Writers' Association, Woodstream Writers - Jamie Morris, Sweeney Writing Coach - Joyce Sweeney, Cana Rensberger, Paul May, The Hoggetowne Scribblers and Doodlers, and Mrs. Anagnose my 8th grade English teacher. Hang with me for just a wee bit longer as I entice you (to buy...pretty please) with my back of the book blurb: Sixteen year old recording artist and sitcom star - Tuesday Greenwood - is outgrowing her bubblegum image and fifth grade fanatical fans. She wants desperately to reinvent herself to appeal to her generation as an innovative rocker chick. With a snarky helping from Zelda - her antagonistic anti-fan - Tuesday changes her music genre and her look to not-so-innocent. However, her mother, who is also her manager and Uncle Monty, who is her agent, but not really her uncle, stand firmly in her way with their own grandiose plan - the high school that collects the most money for the pop star's favorite charity will be awarded with Tuesday performing her platinum singles at their prom. But their promotional gig backfires when Tuesday gravitates toward one of the students - Brady Paul Larson.
