Rhyming reflections on the weather

Jul 01, 2018 22:15

A blizzard would be rather nice,
With lots of snow and freezing ice.
Or how about some wind and rain?
Hailstones 'gainst the window pane.
Clear blue skies are good in Spain.
England should have sun and rain.
If I wanted this scorching, I'd move over to Greece,
So go away heatwave and leave me in peace!

Great poem! I wish I could have sent you all the frigging rain that we had lately. Leaking balconies are no fun.

Thank you. I wish you could, we need the rain. Hope your balcony can be sorted out.

Amen to that!
Shadow, my black Lab, is decidedly the wrong colour for this weather and is missing his trips in the car.
And it appears set to get worse!

Thank you, I feel for Shadow. I fear it does. Good to see you here.

You are actually describing an episode of Twilight Zone here, LOL....

Same ridiculous on this side of the Atlantic...

Okay here's a haiku: Sun blazing in sky, the weather is very hot, I like it cooler.
