Ooops - Friends' list A-I mistake

I thought I'd edit my friend's list and remove people I never interact with and accounts that are never used. I think I've ticked the wrong boxes, though and deleted the people I wanted to keep

I know what you mean. Every time I comment on someone's entry and want to click back to Friends Feed, I have to take conscious effort not to hit the Remove Friend button. I very nearly deleted you several times by accident, and that would be the last thing I wanted.

Same for me! I think it would ask/confirm before it deleted the person though.

It is so easy to do. I'd guess it was a mistake if it happened.

LOL! Yeah, easy to do. It did baffle me for a minute when the top of the email said "Lindahoyland has added you as a friend!" and my tired brain is going "but isn't she already?" before thinking to, you know, read the body of the email!

I got scared last week when I went to "clean up" my friends page after removing 2 people. I had no memory of them commenting to any of my recent posts but they hadn't posted anything in over 6 months. What if they commented but simply had nothing to write in their accounts? I stopped "cleaning" after that. It's weird how it goes sometimes.

It was my friends whose names come early in the alphabet.

I find doing a spring clean nerve-wracking but my list had become full of people who left years ago.
